Pepsi Co Foods Canada has current openings at the Frito Lay Facility in Cambridge, ON for a Licensed Millwright.
Compensation: $ per hour (Plus shift premiums)
Shift: Nights (Monday - Friday 11pm - 7am)
ResponsibilitiesPerforming preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce unplanned downtimeCarrying out assigned daily maintenance tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiencyResponding quickly and effectively to emergency breakdowns and troubleshooting issues as they ariseSupporting root cause analysis efforts and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failuresWork collaboratively with operators and other skilled trades across the site to identify and mitigate downtime, safety risks, and quality concernsCommunicating clearly during shift handovers and team meetings to ensure smooth coordination across teams and work ordersDemonstrating strong troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-demand environmentManage through emergency breakdownsQualificationsMandatory:
Must hold a valid Millwright (433A) license in the province of OntarioA secondary trade license (, Electrical, Welding) is an asset and may qualify for additional compensationAbility to use machine shop equipment and weldStrong work ethic, with a positive attitude and motivation to succeed in a team environmentPhysically capable of lifting up to 50lbs as requiredDemonstrated continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliabilitySolid communication skills and basic computer literacy (, entering work orders, logging maintenance tasks)Prior experience working with production or packaging equipment in a food manufacturing environment is preferredFamiliarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and recording hoursMust be flexible and available to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the operationWhat you can expect from us:
