Pepsi Co Foods Canada has current openings at the Frito Lay Facility in Cambridge, ON for a Licensed Millwright.

Compensation: $ per hour (Plus shift premiums)

Shift: Nights (Monday - Friday 11pm - 7am)

Responsibilities

Performing preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce unplanned downtime

Carrying out assigned daily maintenance tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency

Responding quickly and effectively to emergency breakdowns and troubleshooting issues as they arise

Supporting root cause analysis efforts and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures

Work collaboratively with operators and other skilled trades across the site to identify and mitigate downtime, safety risks, and quality concerns

Communicating clearly during shift handovers and team meetings to ensure smooth coordination across teams and work orders

Demonstrating strong troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

Manage through emergency breakdowns

Qualifications

Mandatory:
Must hold a valid Millwright (433A) license in the province of Ontario

A secondary trade license (, Electrical, Welding) is an asset and may qualify for additional compensation

Ability to use machine shop equipment and weld

Strong work ethic, with a positive attitude and motivation to succeed in a team environment

Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs as required

Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability

Solid communication skills and basic computer literacy (, entering work orders, logging maintenance tasks)

Prior experience working with production or packaging equipment in a food manufacturing environment is preferred

Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and recording hours

Must be flexible and available to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the operation
