Senior Accounts Assistant

Position: Senior Accounts Assistant (Permanent)
Location: Cambridgeshire

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in North Cambridge, who are recruiting for a Senior Accounts Assistant. This is a full-time position, and to be successful you will need to have experience in a similar role. Our client can offer a hybrid working model, and a competitive package.

Typical duties include:

* Supporting the Accounts Payable function

* Assisting with the preparation of monthly accounts

* Preparing financial statements and accounts

* Supporting with Sales Ledger duties

* Reconciling payments and processing invoices

* Supporting the preparation of VAT returns

* Performing any other ad-hoc tasks for the wider team

You will have:

* A professional accounting qualification or studying towards

* Excellent communication, both written and verbal

* Experience in a similar role

* Sound accounting knowledge and strong technical skillset
