Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a live educational facility construction project in Cambridge.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-organised and professional team, delivering a high-spec build on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

* Setting out and surveying for foundations, drainage, steelwork, internal and external works

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings

* Ensuring accuracy and quality of on-site works

* Liaising with the Site Manager and subcontractors to maintain progress against the programme

* Conducting site checks and maintaining accurate records

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Site Engineer, ideally on school or public-sector builds

* Strong knowledge of setting out equipment (Total Station/GPS)

* Valid CSCS card

* Relevant qualifications (HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering or similar)

* Understanding of health & safety procedures, particularly in educational environments

* Own laptop and setting out equipment (preferred but not essential)
