Location: Cambridgeshire
Staffright Group are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of commercial construction projects on site. The successful candidate will be a confident leader, acting as the main client interface while managing teams, subcontractors, health & safety, quality and programme delivery to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

   Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and supply chain partners.
   Highly self-motivated with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
   Ability to assist the Contracts Manager and manage junior site team members.
   Strong leadership and organisational skills.
   Full responsibility for daily running and organisation of commercial construction sites.
   Ability to anticipate and resolve site issues efficiently.
   Maintain orderly and accurate site records and documentation.
   Willingness to travel across the operating region and lodge away when required.

Experience & Technical Requirements :

Time Management

   Control the progression of works by scheduling trades in line with construction programmes on commercial sites.
   Develop short-term programmes with awareness of risk management challenges (experience with ASTA Power project desirable).

Cost Control

   Work within project budgets.
   Review and manage subcontractor variations.
   Control site labour and subcontractors cost-effectively.

Quality

   Interpret drawings and specifications accurately for commercial builds.
   Maintain exceptional workmanship standards and detailed quality records.

Health & Safety

   Strong working knowledge of current UK H&S regulations.
   Implement and manage site Health & Safety plans across commercial projects.
   Oversee all on-site safety compliance.

CSCS card
   SMSTS
   First Aid at Work
   Temporary Works Coordinator
   Asbestos Awareness
