A well-established and highly respected architectural practice, renowned for its thoughtful and sustainable design approach, is seeking an experienced Architect to join its welcoming and collaborative Cambridge studio. With a varied portfolio spanning education, healthcare, cultural, and residential projects, the practice is committed to delivering high-quality design, combining creativity with technical excellence.
This role provides the opportunity to play a central role in the design and delivery of a broad range of projects. You will work closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors, guiding schemes from detailed design through to construction and on-site completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of high-quality design and technical drawings
- Coordinate design and technical information with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Support project delivery across RIBA Stages 3-6
- Ensure designs comply with current UK building regulations and technical standards
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary design environment
- Assist with design and technical coordination during construction and on-site stages
Skills & Experience
- ARB-registered Architect
- Experience with in a UK architectural practice
- Strong technical knowledge and construction detailing skills
- Sound understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
- Proficiency in Revit and a good understanding of BIM processes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, collaborative approach
