Our dedicated Global Innovation & Technology Centre in Cambridge UK fosters multidisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and design excellence. Our designers work alongside engineers, researchers, and strategists to create everything from breakthrough medical devices to consumer electronics and next‑generation packaging. Whatyou can expect
We work with our clients throughout the complete product lifecycle. Some of the things you’ll do as a graduate industrial designer at PA:
Work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with full R&D facilities, state‑of‑the‑art studios, workshops, and labs designed for experimentation, creativity, and fast product development.
Take part in creative ideation, consumer research, user experience mapping, and concept development. Produce outstanding concepts via freehand sketching, craft modelling, digital tools, and rendering.
Guided by a highly experienced team, you’ll have the equipment, encouragement, and expertise to fully develop your concepts from early vision through to working prototypes and designs for manufacture.
Use CMF specification, 3D CAD, generative AI design tools, design strategy, and product animations to bring ideas to life.
Present your work and design narrative to a range of stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with design leadership and multidisciplinary teams on client projects and internal initiatives.
Hybrid working – you'll be in our office at least 2 days a week with flexibility as projects require.

QualificationsQualification:
Undergraduate degree - studying towards, or completed an accredited degree in product/industrial design (or closely related subject).Excellent portfolio demonstrating your visual thinking, process, and design skills.
