WSP has an opportunity for an experienced Senior, Principal or Associate Public Health Engineer in our Cambridge Office. You will work on prestigious projects across sectors, within a multi-disciplinary team delivering building services engineering.

Your key responsibilities

• As an experienced public health engineer at Senior, Principal or Associate level, lead in the delivery of a range of prestigious projects.
• Support mission-critical facilities in aviation, healthcare and defence sectors based in the Cambridge office.
• Represent WSP to clients, taking a lead public health engineering delivery role with innovative and sustainable solutions.
• Incorporate sustainability, net zero carbon, digital design, modern methods of construction and smart systems into design work.

Your team

• Building services team includes engineers across Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health specialisms.
• Opportunity to work on major projects across public and private sector client sites.
• Support from graduate/assistant engineers, BIM and Sustainability specialists to contribute to projects.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate

• Working knowledge of UK public health building services design, with relevant standards, codes and regulations at Senior, Principal or Associate level.
• Ability to work in a team and also manage junior engineers towards delivering key projects.
• Ability to apply technical judgment in feasibility studies, concept, scheme and detailed design, and construction support phases.
• Ability to represent WSP to clients and understand and deliver client needs in engineering solutions.
• Capability to manage technical, cost and programme elements of project delivery.
