C# Developer - WPF User Interface

Overview

Building a user interface fit for a world‑class mathematical modelling toolset. This established software company, based in Cambridge, creates mathematical modelling tools that inform the design of high‑value engineering projects and are relied upon by international clients across a range of industries. A well‑designed and robust user interface is an essential component of its success. As the product continues to grow with new capabilities, the company is seeking an experienced software engineer with C# expertise and WPF knowledge to join the growing development team.

You will work on visually interesting GUI elements that allow scope for creativity, collaborating with other software engineers and broadly with colleagues from other technical specialisms such as mathematical modelling. The role requires a thoughtful approach to specifications and a disciplined development process to maintain quality.

• A good degree in a relevant numerate STEM subject from a good university.
• Substantial experience developing commercial‑grade software in C#.NET.
• Knowledge of using WPF for GUI development.
• An understanding of the MVVM or related design patterns.
• Full existing right to work in the UK without time limit or sponsorship.
