Astute's EPC Contract Power team is partnering with a leading End Client / Operator within the UK Power Industry to recruit a Civils Supervisor to oversee the full Civils scope of works for their new build Waste to Energy facility based in Cambridgeshire.
The Civils Supervisor comes with a day rate from £400.00 to £500.00 outside of IR35.
Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:
Act as the client's on-site representative, overseeing the EPC contractor's civil works delivery
Monitor contractor performance against programme, scope, and contractual requirements
Chair and attend regular site meetings with EPC construction management and discipline leads
Review and challenge method statements, risk assessments, and temporary works proposals
Ensure all civil works comply with approved designs, specifications, and statutory regulations
Monitor HSE performance, escalating non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
Track progress, identify risks or delays, and provide clear reporting to the client project team
Witness inspections, testing, and handover of civil works, ensuring quality standards are met
Provide key stakeholders and the project delivery team progress updates on the civils scope of works.
Location, day rate and timeframe of the Civils Supervisor position:
Cambridgeshire
£400.00 to £500.00 per day (Outside IR35)
Start date - January 2026
