Senior Civil Engineer
Location:
Cambridge
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
We’re working with an award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy that is looking to expand its team in Cambridge with the addition of a Senior Civil Engineer.

The Role
You’ll be working across a wide range of development infrastructure projects, taking schemes from planning and feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
As a key member of the team, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own work, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and act as a main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
While there’s flexibility in the profile, ideally you’ll have:
A degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent)
A minimum of 3 years' experience within consultancy (ideally multi-disciplinary)
Experience delivering infrastructure designs for development projects
Proficiency in Civil 3D, Micro Drainage and/or Causeway Flow
Solid understanding of hydraulic principles and drainage strategy development
Familiarity with S104, S38, S278, and S185 agreements and relevant planning processes
Ability to manage your own workload, attend site and client meetings, and oversee technical delivery
Experience leading or mentoring junior engineers
Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients and design teams
A full UK driving licence and ability to travel to the Nottingham office
Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or equivalent)
