North Manchester Industry: Manufacturing Our client, a leading manufacturer, has recently undergone significant investment and growth. They are now seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.

The Role You will play a key role in supporting the Finance Controller and wider finance team, with responsibilities including (but not limited to):
Production of weekly accounts Month-end processing and analysis, including:
Preparation of accruals and prepayments Posting payroll journals Draft P&L and Balance Sheet preparation Balance Sheet and Bank reconciliations Supplier reconciliations VAT returns Overhead analysis and commentary ONS returns Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and depreciation calculations Assist and support the Operations Accountant and Finance Director Requirements Part-qualified accountant studier, (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) Strong Excel skills, pivot tables/V-Look-ups Determination, initiative, and a proactive approach Benefits Study support to help you progress toward full qualifications Mentorship from a highly experienced Finance Controller Opportunity to develop within a growing, forward-thinking business On-site parking 25 holidays What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
