As our Senior Care Assistant you will oversee the shift by leading and motivating the team, managing daily records, and assisting with care plans. You will provide personal care to our residents, supporting them with bathing, and build meaningful relationships, learning their likes, dislikes, and needs.
Key Responsibilities- Effectively supervise and manage care staff
- Follow electronic care plans for each resident and administer medication as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records
- Remain alert at all times to residents’ physical and mental well‑being
- Help maintain high standards ensuring the home is always clean and safe
- Experience or training in residential care preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Compassionate, caring nature with ability to build relationships
- Ability to work as part of a supportive team in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic understanding of care planning and medication administration procedures
