Key Responsibilities

Assist the Building Services and Workshop Manager with general maintenance tasks
Carry out minor DIY work including shelving, refurbishments, small modifications and basic decoration of office and communal spaces
Work alongside the Department’s Building Maintenance Assistant and other workshop technicians
Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively
Work to deadlines when required and maintain a proactive, can-do approach
Requirements

Previous building maintenance or DIY experience
Confident using hand tools and basic power tools
Conscientious, organised and able to communicate clearly
Flexible attitude and reliable work ethic
