Position: CAD/CAM Programmer (OTE £46,000)

CAD/CAM Progra mmer (OTE: £46,000) £34,000 - £38,500 (OTE: £46,000 plus)  Overtime  Bonus  Early Finish Fridays  Days Based  Monday - Friday Ashton-under-Lyne Are you an a CAD/CAM Programmer with a background in offline and online programming or similar, looking for a day-based role an early finish on Friday and the opportunity to significantly increase your income with overtime? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established precision engineering company producing high-precision metal components for the rail, defence, and industrial sectors.

The business is part of a larger engineering group with a strong order book and ongoing investment in modern machinery. The role is primarily programming-focused. You will use CAD/CAM software such as CIMCO or Fusion 360 to program CNC machines. Full training will be provided on vertical and horizontal boring machines, so no prior experience on these machines is required.

This position would suit a CAD/CAM Programmer with a background offline/online programming or similar software, looking for a secure, days-based role within a supportive and growing team environment.

THE ROLE:

* Programming CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
* Operating CNC lathes, milling machines, and boring machines (Vertical/Horizontal)
* Inspecting finished components using a variety of quality inspection methods
* 37-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with early Friday finish THE PERSON:
* CNC Machinist with a background on Lathes or Milling machines
* Offline programmed a CNC machines using Fusion 360 or similar
* Commutable to Ashton-Under-Lyne Reference: BBBH
