Carpenter​/Bench Joiner

Are you a skilled Bench Joiner / Carpenter looking to showcase your craftsmanship on bespoke, high-quality projects?

Our client, a well-established joinery company based in St Ives, is looking for an experienced professional to join their talented workshop team on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm

As a Bench Joiner / Carpenter, you ll take pride in creating one-of-a-kind joinery pieces from start to finish. You ll be working in a modern, well-equipped workshop where every day brings a new challenge. Your work will include:

• Cutting and preparing timber to precise specifications

• Manufacturing and assembling bespoke joinery ready for on-site installation

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately

• Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

• Adapting designs to meet client requirements

• Monitoring stock levels and reporting material defects

To be successful in this Bench Joiner / Carpenter role, you ll have:

• Proven experience as a Bench Joiner / Carpenter in bespoke joinery manufacturing

• Strong understanding of both traditional and modern joinery techniques

• Competence with hand tools and power tools

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

• A solid awareness of Health & Safety practices

• Good communication and teamwork skills
