Rate: £33p/h - £35p/h (Outside IR35)

Location: Duxford

We are looking for a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer & Operator to support a pilot pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety, combining machinery operation, maintenance, and involvement in new equipment and process development within a highly regulated environment.

• Operate pilot plant machinery for powder production and packaging
• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation
• Fault-find and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Support testing and commissioning of new equipment and processes
• Maintain accurate records in line with GMP and regulatory standards

• Multi-skilled engineer with mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
• Background in pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical production machinery
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance
• Able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Flexible and adaptable when supporting new processes and trials
