Position: Family Physician (Contract)
Location: KelvingtonJob Description
The community of Kelvington, located in Southeast Saskatchewan, is seeking a team orientated and professional family physician to join their primary health care team. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team providing primary health care services to the community of Kelvington and surrounding area and will work collaboratively with other medical professionals to support the acute care and emergency services in the area.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the educational needs of medical students, residents, nursing staff and allied health professionals. The successful candidate will be encouraged and supported to become involved in the academic efforts in the Department of Family Medicine in our area.
This position will remain open until filled and may be filled prior to the posted closing date

The successful candidate may be eligible for:

Certified or eligible to be certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)Regular or Provisional License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) (or eligible to be licensed)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationRecommended - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)Valid driver’s licenseSuccessful SHA credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sectorCurrent Canadian Medical Protective Association coverageLegal entitlement to work in CanadaBenefits
