Key Job

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for building strong customer relationships with, and delivering solutions to; contractors, architects, engineers, building inspectors, draftsperson/designers, material vendors, trades, local Co-ops, local home builder/contractor association(s), and stay abreast of industry trends

  • Provide information, assistance, and exceptional customer service

  • Kitchen design and quoting

  • Work collaboratively with the Home Centre team to meet or exceed Heritage Co-op Brand standards

  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, or computer aided drawings and provide estimates, outlining the overall building material requirements, as well as recommend changes where building code, structural integrity or efficiency may be a concern

  • Support tendering processes; providing quantities, costing, and information associated to the overall building project

  • Provide leadership and expertise for all in-house project planning

  • Monitor building material inventory levels, forecast inventory requirements and order accordingly

  • Maintain safe and efficient operations while adhering to policies, procedures, and standards

  • Who you are:

  • You have a minimum of 3-6 years of related experience

  • Completion of Levels 1 & 2 project estimating course

  • Construction experience an asset

  • You have the ability to identify issues and problem solve

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and extensive customer service experience

  • You have cabinetry design experience

  • You have proven effective communication skills, both verbal and written

  • You have the ability to work independently as well as part of a Team

  • Drafting and design courses an asset

  • You are willing to work rotational weekends
