This position is responsible for assisting the Project Engineer with projects within the facility related to product development, engineering, and manufacturing processes. This also includes all building upgrades and equipment improvements.
Responsibilities:
Work on drawings including the updating of existing plant layouts, as well as technical drawings related to specific projects and equipmentHelp on engineering and process projects specifically related to the improvement of the manufacturing areaAssist the Project Engineer in a variety of specific projectsProvide assistance in the updating/accuracy of line layouts and line improvementsAssist with installation of equipment related to new product start-upAssist with line efficiency/improvement projectsInput into project layout & designAdhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in the SOP manualAdhere to GMPs and Health and safety rules as outlined in the employee handbookEnsure GMPs and safe food handling practices are being followedPerform all other duties as assignedQualifications:
Enrolled in a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering TechnologyUnderstanding of processes related to manufacturingAutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project skills required
