Applications are now being accepted for Seasonal Park Enforcement Officers at various locations throughout the province of Saskatchewan. Successful candidates will be required to work evenings and weekends.
Reporting to a Senior Conservation Officer, you will participate in renewable resource management and environmental protection programs by:
This position may involve shift work and exposure to inclement weather in isolated locations. Strong teamwork, interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required.
Typically, the knowledge required for this position would be obtained through completion of/or working towards a Resource and Environmental Law diploma/degree or relevant experience.
To qualify for these positions, you will:
Selected candidates must successfully complete Defensive Tactics raining; OC spray, shotgun and baton certification; verbal judo and traffic safety training .
The successful candidate will be required to obtain enhanced fingerprint clearance. This check is a more in-depth level of clearance than a normal criminal record check.
