Home Support Worker Personal Care

Location: Kamloops North

Use personal care and meal preparation skills as a Home Support Worker serving clients at an employer’s home in Port Moody. Work onsite with flexible hours.
This permanent, full-time position provides in-home support for persons with disabilities and young adults. Duties include bathing assistance, feeding, nutritious meals, personal care, laundry, cleaning, and companionship. The employer requires English, a secondary school certificate or equivalent experience, and one to less than seven months of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care in the client’s home
Assist with bathing and related hygiene needs
Prepare nutritious meals and serve clients
Feed clients or provide feeding assistance
Complete laundry, cleaning, and companionship duties
Requirements:
English language ability
Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience
One to less than seven months’ experience
Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
Initiative, judgment, punctuality, and dependability
