Position: Architect – ServiceNow (SNOW)
Location: VictoriaPOSITION DESCRIPTION
Develop security model for CMDB classes and attributes.Ensure that the implemented system is consistent with the approved architectureDevelop support models for the solution after go-liveLiaise with the business and IT stakeholders to gather and socialize non-functional requirements and constraintsConduct key technology decision evaluations with input from enterprise architecture and business stakeholdersCollaborate with application, infrastructure and security teams to produce architecture and design deliverablesProvide ongoing technical leadership and support during low level design, development, test, and service introduction phases including technical specification reviews and approvalsLiaise with Organization's IT infrastructure service providersLiaise with Organization's Enterprise Architect team in order to align solutions to company standardsExercise professionalism in ensuring effective teamwork and fostering productive relationshipsAssess solution options, risks and benefit as it pertains to architecture, security, and other technology dimensionsStay abreast of technology standards and best practicesThe position is based in Victoria (Client Location)QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, Commerce or in a related fieldA minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a customer service function in a fast-paced, multi-project and multi-customer IT environmentIn-depth Service Now architectural, integration and functional experienceCMDB design and implementationIntegration using ESBA minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience as a Solution Architect on Service Now implementationsMust have excellent customer-service, listening, communication and problem-solving skillsMust have excellent leadership and collaboration skills to facilitate continuous service management improvement across IT functionsMust have experience leading or participating in agile and/or lean initiativesStrong facilitation, coordination and interpersonal skillsAbility to raise, resolve and close issues to the satisfaction of all stakeholdersAbility to work independently under minimal supervisionGreat attention to detail, able to prioritize and produce accurate results under deadlineAbility to consistently meet required deadlines.ITIL Intermediate certification or higher is preferredKnowledge of networking, telecom, server environments and related technologiesDuration
