Key Accountabilities
Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as the client’s primary point of contactManage a focused Personal Lines portfolio of insurance accountsProvide excellent client service while dealing with new and existing clients as well as industry partnersAdvise on insurance coverage within licence guidelines and bind authority outlined by the CompanyRecognize key growth opportunitiesCollaborate with cross functional teams to ensure clients’ needs are metIdentify prospective clients through leads and referralsCoordinate with new and renewal clients to understand the underwriting requirementsStay current on insurance knowledge and industry trends through approved educational resourcesActively participate in Company, community and networking events as an ambassador for the CompanyAcknowledge and support the Company’s values within daily transactionsQualifications / Attributes
An OTL (Other Than Life) Insurance Licence with some Insurance knowledge/CIP Designation or Course are an asset.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, customer service plus farm would be an assetExcellent communication skills with respect for privacyAble to multi-task and pay attention to detail with high level of accuracyExceptional interpersonal and relationship management skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality in relation to business operationsOrganized and work effectively with the ability to prioritize and multi-taskCustomer focused demonstrating integrity and utmost good faithDisciplined working independently and collaboratively as part of a teamMaintain positive working relationships and liaison with all business partners internally and externallyStrong computer proficiency with experience on Microsoft Office and quick to adapt to new programs (experience with EPIC or Titan would be an asset)Valid Driver’s Licence with a reliable vehicle as well as willing and able to travel for businessInterested candidates please forward your resume to Danielle at DGA Careers OR text .
