Tactical Security Guard

Ready to suit up as a casual Hospital Security Guard?

We are currently seeking reliable and flexible Security Guards to join our casual/on-call pool in the Haliburton region, supporting hospital security operations. This role is ideal for guards who are available on short notice and willing to step in to cover book-offs, last-minute absences, contractor watches, and special coverage requests.

You will play an essential role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, visitors, and contractors across the hospital property.

Pay rate - $22.50/Hour

• Provide on-site security presence at the hospital and affiliated locations as needed.
• Cover contractor watches, patient watches, and other special security requests.
• Respond to last-minute call-ins to support operational needs.
• Conduct routine patrols (interior/exterior), monitor entrances, and enforce hospital policies.
• Document all activities and incidents clearly and accurately.
• Work closely with hospital staff, contractors, and emergency services when required.

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR (Level
  
  C) Certification
• Ability to respond quickly to coverage requests, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, calm, and confident demeanor in sensitive or fast-paced environments
• Must have access to reliable transportation to the Haliburton area
