We are looking for full-time/part-time/casual security officers for a 7-month security coverage with potential of further employment (December 2025 to July 2026)

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Security Officer, your duties will include:

  • Maintaining strict control of all access points, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter the facility.
  • Verifying access cards carefully and deny entry to unauthorized individuals while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conducting regular patrols of the entire site to monitor for hazards, unauthorized activity, or security breaches.
  • Staying highly vigilant and alert at all times, anticipating potential risks and responding proactively.
  • Opening and closing access gates promptly, ensuring smooth operations without compromising security.
  • Escorting contractors, workers, and visitors safely within the facility, following all security protocols.
  • Responding immediately to access-related issues, incidents, or emergencies, maintaining composure and authority.
  • Maintaining detailed records of access activity, patrols, and any security incidents.
  • Observing and enforcing safety procedures, addressing potential hazards during patrols and daily operations.
  • Projecting a professional, visible security presence to reassure staff, visitors, and stakeholders.

    • YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

  • Have a valid BC security license
  • Have Basic First Aid or be willing to obtain it
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Have the ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time
  • Are legally authorized to work in Canada
