Overview

Driver I – Alberta Health Services – Peace River, Alberta.

Join as a Driver I to transport a range of products including mail, packages, medical supplies, equipment, food and linen. You will work independently along scheduled routes and ad‑hoc requests, ensuring safe and courteous delivery while logging mileage and maintaining vehicle condition.

Competitive rate of pay, plus a Remote Retention Allowance up to $3,000 per year. Allowance is non‑pensionable and paid hourly.

• Transport mail, packages, medical supplies, equipment, food and linen in accordance with AHS standards, regulations and policies.
• Adhere to scheduled routes and ad‑hoc requests safely and courteously.
• Log mileage, clean vehicles, perform pre‑ and post‑vehicle inspections.
• Report defects and malfunctions to management.

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid Class 5 Alberta Operator’s Licence.
• Valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate.
• Driver’s licence and vehicle provided.

• Previous experience in a similar delivery/driver role.
• Understanding of TDG regulations.
