Salary: £58,000 per annum + Annual Bonus

The Role:

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to work nights at a brand-new, landmark skyscraper in the heart of Canary Wharf. You will be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently during night operations, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and responding to faults across the building.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carrying out PPM and reactive electrical maintenance

* Electrical fault finding and diagnostics

* Maintenance of lighting systems and power distribution

* Testing and maintenance of emergency lighting

* Working on fire alarm systems

* Maintenance and operation of switch gear

* Monitoring and maintenance of UPS systems

* Fault finding on Simtronic lighting control systems

* Working with 3-phase motors

* Diagnosing and repairing circuit boards

* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site procedures

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Electrical Shift Engineer or Electrical Maintenance Engineer

* Strong electrical fault-finding ability

* Experience in commercial or critical environments (e.g. high-rise, corporate buildings, data centres)

* Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)

* Ability to work independently on a night shift
