Hours Early / late shift pattern

(6-2 / 2-10 pm Monday to Thursday and 5 hours shortened shift on a Friday)

Fantastic opening for a CNC Machinist to work for a state-of-the-art manufacturing company with a strong order book.

Working across a wide variety of products to exacting standards and tolerances, the role will offer technical variety and the ability to utilise your skills and experience to make a real difference on high-quality products.

Working within a friendly, stable and highly successful manufacturing team as CNC Machinist / CNC Setter Operator you will ideally come from an apprenticeship background (or similar) and will be responsible for the following :

• Setting and operating multi-axis machines (3-5 axis typically).
• Ability to use a wide range of precision measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres, shadow graphs, CMM or similar
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling

Ideally you will have experience in the below :

• Machine shop environment experience or apprentice trained / time served
• Setting / operating mill / turn
• Competent in using precision measurement equipment
