About the Role:

The Centre Administrator will carry out administrative tasks including the smooth running of reception, answering phones, room hire arrangements, operations of property and communications between the faith community, community ministries team, tenants and public.

What will your responsibilities be:
  • Be a point of contact for all visitors to the Corps, directing and assisting as needed.
  • Ensure all visitors and people on site have signed in and out of the building.
  • Attend to the physical environment of the reception so that it is warm and welcoming.
  • Manage all incoming telephone calls, process email enquiries and manage mail / courier deliveries and pick up.
  • Assist with weekly banking.
  • Oversee purchases for stationary, consumables, and cleaning supplies.
  • Ensure storage areas are neat and orderly.
  • Create newsletters, advertising material and flyers as needed.
  • Maintain and keep up to date TSA specific resources as required.
  • Maintain record of Corps contacts, database and statistics via SAMIS.
  • Assist with weekly banking and cash counting in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure invoices and receipts are sent to the Support Services Business Administration Hub for processing.
  • Provide security for the front door and reception area.
  • Manage external building users booking and arrange paperwork with the Support Services Business Administration Hub.
  • Keep Corps inventory and asset registers up to date.
  • Oversee facilities maintenance and repairs of equipment and electrical / mechanical systems.
  • Monitor the building premises to ensure that it remains safe, secure and well‑maintained.

Work days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 9 am to 2.30 pm for a total of 20 hours per week

Hourly wage is $28.95
