Salary:
Up to £35,000 per annum + mileage reimbursement

A dynamic IT services provider supporting educational institutions across Kent and the South East. They specialise in network cabling, wireless systems, SIMS/MIS support, filtered broadband, and proactive IT solutions tailored for schools.

This full-time, permanent role is hands-on and field-based, involving travel to client sites across the South East. You ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network systems that support the critical operations of schools and academies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi systems
• Conduct site visits for installation, troubleshooting, and upgrades
• Collaborate with internal teams and school IT staff
• Maintain documentation of network configurations
• Ensure safeguarding and data protection compliance
• Provide occasional support for the broader IT infrastructure

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in network system design and implementation
• Confident in high-level technical discussions
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Enhanced DBS within the last three years
• Strong grasp of networking protocols, hardware, and diagnostics
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

• Experience in the education sector
• Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent
