Audit Trainee

Overview

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Audit Trainee. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are keen to develop their careers in auditing, particularly within the public sector. Previous experience or exposure to government audits will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

– Assist in planning and conducting audit engagements in accordance with relevant standards and guidelines
– Perform testing of financial data and controls to identify potential areas of risk or non-compliance
– Assist in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations for clients
– Develop an understanding of clients’ businesses and industries to better identify areas for improvement
– Maintain accurate and detailed work papers and documentation for each audit engagement
– Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address any questions or concerns
– Stay current on industry trends and changes to audit regulations and standards

Qualifications and Skills:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
– Knowledge of audit and accounting principles is a plus
– Enthusiastic and eager to learn and grow in the field of auditing
