Overview

Hire Resolve’s client in the civil engineering sector is urgently seeking the expertise of a Structural Engineer (PrEng) in Cape Town .

Responsibilities:

Designing, analyzing, and evaluating structures to ensure their safety, reliability, and quality.

Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop cost-effective and efficient solutions for various projects.

Working on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.

Managing a design team to ensure project deliverables are met.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PrEng) or working towards certification.

Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.

Experience with structural analysis and design software, Sofistik FEM preferred.

Proficiency in Revit and other design software/draughting packages.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently.

Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
