Production Engineer

Overview

Our client seeks a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join their dynamic hardware team. The successful candidate will coordinate data transfer between suppliers and developers, ensure effective communication on critical issues, support development and R&D procurement, produce cost estimates, update data packs, conduct testing and debugging, and contribute to the design and optimization of production procedures and equipment.

Includes the following but is not limited to:

• Act as a key liaison between suppliers and developers, facilitating effective communication on critical issues including but not limited to engineering design changes;
• Play a key role in Development / R&D procurement-related activities;
• Produce and update cost estimates for development activities to contribute to the company budgeting process;
• Provide support for product owners to keep data packs updated;
• Create and maintain packaging artifacts as required;
• Review procedure documents from a production perspective and actively contribute to their improvement and optimization;
• Develop and execute verification procedures, including Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), Hardware Test Procedures (HTP) and Qualification Test Procedures (QTP);
• Perform minor support roles within the company, as required;

Minimum Qualifications:

• BTech Degree / Advanced Diploma in Electronic Engineering or related disciplines.

Required

Skills and Experience:

• Industry experience in an electro-mechanical production environment; and
• Familiarity with an industry-standard ERP, ideally Odoo.

Recommended

Skills and Experience:

• 2-3 years experience in an electronic assembly production environment;
• Familiarity with production procedures and documentation;
• Knowledge of verification procedures (ATP, HTP, QTP) is desirable; and
• Mechanical design skills and experience with packaging artifacts are advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving skills; and
• High standard of communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
