Responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of Full Stack Developers, Front End Developers, UX developers and UI designersLeading UX architecture and system design decisions and reviews code implementationOversee all aspects of interactive development, including CMS development, front-end development, dev ops, server architecture and maintenance, and security strategyBuilds strong, collaborative relationships with tech team, and both internal and external stakeholders’Collaborates regularly with outside agencies to develop, test, and launch code through multiple phases of workIdentifying and troubleshooting bugs and code failuresDevelop and implement creative solutions to move work forward on deadline, strategically weighing risk and evaluating level of the work’s importance throughoutCreating and executing vision for stable, adaptable website and information architectureCo-creating development roadmaps together with office’s senior leadership and digital product team, identifying future needs, fixes, enhancements, and potential experimentsDeveloping a plan for maintaining and upgrading code base as needed.Monitoring and investigating new technology trends and opportunities for innovationActively participation in weekly department meetings to share relevant team updates and inform and educate colleagues about development projects.Providing critical input and strategic direction for all phases of website projectsDesigning, developing, and maintaining Word Press websites, ensuring high-performance and availabilityExperience/Skills for this role:
Solid comprehension of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and a track record of improving performance metrics and achieving significant results in this area.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field is preferred6 years of experience Web Development (Full Stack)Prior agency experience is preferred but not a requirementExpert knowledge of HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end development toolsUnderstanding of best practice in development operations and code deployment approachesProficiency with version control systems like GitFamiliarity with database management systems like MySQLExtensive experience in agile development methodologyExperience and demonstrated success in online conversion rate optimization best practices and methodologies within ecommerce/web developmentUnderstanding of best practices to minimize digital security vulnerabilitiesStrong SEO understandingExperience with REST APIs, JSON and GraphQL
