Senior Database Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Engineer to lead our database initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities- Designing and implementing complex database architectures using SQL.
- Developing and optimizing ETL / ELT processes using tools like SSIS, ADF, and Talend.
- Troubleshooting performance issues and applying query optimization techniques.
- Maintaining database security and integrity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, database design, and data warehousing.
Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Azure / AWS / GCP is also highly desirable.
Key Skills- SQL Development:
Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. - Database Design:
Strong understanding of database normalization, indexing, and schema design. - Data Warehousing:
Experience with ETL / ELT processes, data modeling, and data visualization. - Cloud Technologies:
Familiarity with cloud-based databases, storage solutions, and analytics platforms. - Performance Tuning:
Knowledge of query optimization techniques, indexing strategies, and caching mechanisms. - Security and Compliance:
Understanding of database security best practices, access control, and auditing.
