Position: DevOps Engineer (Specialist)

Job Description

The role of the Specialist Dev Ops Engineer is to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and encompasses many activities including (but not limited to):
  • Ensuring deployment automation and infrastructure processes.
  • Monitoring and optimising system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborating with development and operations teams.
  • Implementing and managing configuration management tools.
  • Ensuring system security and compliance.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving deployment and production issues.
  • Managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
  • Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
  • Facilitating continuous integration and delivery practices.

    • Requirements

  • NQF 6 or a Degree in Information Communication Technology (ICT) field incorporating (but not limited to) Information Systems;
  • Microsoft certification or Oracle Certification or AWS security certification, and
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience as a Senior Dev Ops Engineer.
