Based in South Africa, you will be part of the Circana Global Implementation team as a Dimension Architect. You will design and build custom product attributes, manage item placement, and engage with clients. You will discover how clients view and segment their data and translate those needs into technical requirements to build a data model that supports the end user. You will use a consultative approach to leverage Circana’s capabilities to meet the needs of the client organization and user base, delivering a usable, efficient, valuable solution at rollout.
Job Responsibilities- Effectively design, build, and implement custom product attributes and related design components that satisfy the client’s business needs, while staying within scope and delivering on time.
- Manage the timeline, risks, inputs, and outputs related to your portion of the overall project.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on custom product attributes, item placement, and the overall implementation process. Consult internal and external partners to provide guidance and recommendations throughout the project.
- Communicate with internal and external partners through all mediums (email, Teams, phone, in-person) with confidence, clarity, and precision in a professional and timely manner.
- Problem solve issues that arise regarding your portion of the overall project to ensure a timely resolution.
- Display a solid understanding of the business and our service offerings.
- Attend training, business updates, knowledge shares, and team events as required.
- Adhere to and enforce all relevant policies and procedures.
- Communicate issues and deadlines to the Line Manager and/or team leads as required.
- Bachelor's degree desirable (BCom/BSc).
- Working knowledge of data models is advantageous.
- Excellent written, verbal, and virtual communication skills.
- Must be a self‑starter with a desire to further your knowledge by seeking out information and guidance.
- Strong time‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and deliverables.
- Ability to independently problem‑solve, adapt to change, and course‑correct potential issues with confidence and composure.
- Ability to become a subject matter expert with Circana’s technology and capabilities, and to use this knowledge to provide consultation to our internal and external partners.
- Proficiency in all MS applications, especially Excel (must know VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).
- Background in the CPG industry, specifically from the manufacturer or retailer perspective, is preferred.
