Claims Agent

Outworx is looking for a UK Claims Agent within the Insurance industry.

The Claims Agent will play a crucial role in managing and resolving insurance claims within the UK property sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Claims Processing
  :
  Handle incoming claims from policyholders, ensuring all required documentation is collected and reviewed.
• Investigation
  :
  Assess the validity of claims by investigating circumstances, reviewing policy documents, and analysing evidence.
• Customer Interaction
  :
  Communicate with clients to explain coverage, claim status, and next steps. Provide guidance and support throughout the claims process.
• Negotiation & Settlement
  :
  Negotiate fair settlements with claimants, legal representatives, or third parties.
• Compliance
  :
  Ensure all claims are processed in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Record Keeping
  :
  Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities.
• Fraud Detection
  :
  Identify potential fraud or misrepresentation and escalate as necessary.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of insurance policies and legal protection products.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Familiarity with claims management systems and basic office software.
