The Scrapyard Supervisor will oversee, coordinate and manage daily scrapyard operations, ensuring work is executed safely, accurately, and efficiently
. This includes supervising yard employees, scheduling activities, and ensuring quality standards and productivity targets are met.

• Supervise daily scrapyard activities and yard staff.
• Allocate tasks, schedule shifts and manage yard workflow.
• Ensure all scrap is sorted, processed and stored according to company standards.
• Oversee machinery use, housekeeping, safety compliance and material handling.
• Inspect scrap material quality and report deviations.
• Coordinate with weighbridge, production and procurement teams.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and meets operational deadlines.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce yard rules and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate yard records, reports and logs.

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in scrapyard / recycling / industrial operations.
• Strong leadership and supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of scrap types, handling processes and yard machinery.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, heavy-industry environment.
• High safety awareness and strong organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to manage diverse teams.
