Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Load raw materials and run CNC programs to produce precision parts.
- Quality Control: Perform visual inspections and basic measurements to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand technical drawings to guide machining.
- Technical Support: Assist with machine setup, calibration, and minor maintenance.
- Workplace Safety: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with supervisors and fellow operators to meet production goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of machining and CNC operations.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and a good communicator.
- Experience: CNC Experienced, or has undergone an apprenticeship, trade course, or on-the-job training, is preferred.
- Computer Skills: Basic literacy to operate CNC interfaces.
