Our client within the Dairy / Fruit Manufacturing Industry is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Practitioner to join their team

Job Specification
Legal Requirements
Review and update the Food Safety and Quality Acts, Standards, and Regulations
Assist with registrations, certification, and legal compliance
Assist with External Audit Compliance and regulatory aspects
Training
Assist with compiling training and awareness material
Food Safety & Hygiene
Personal hygiene
Standard Operating Procedures

Assist with training and internal refresher training for food handlers
Assist with the verification of training effectiveness
Documentation
Continuously updating food, safety, and quality documentation
Compiling of checklists, registers, work instructions, and other documentation
Filing and document control documents for Quality Control
Compile and complete minutes from the Food Safety Meetings and circulate and action
Ensure Client and Customer documentation is completed timeously
Internal Audits
Assist with gathering information
Completion of audit reports
Summarizing findings
Follow up on corrective actions
Identify areas for improvisation to continuous improvement
Pest Control
Managing pest control of all sites
Q-Pulse System
System Administration
Managing Q-Pulse Reports
Uploading documents and actions, and following up on actions
Corrective Actions
Assist with recording, updating, and communicating
Effective handling of the Corrective Action Process
Assist with implementing and the verification of corrective actions
Follow up on corrective actions and closure of reports,
Food Safety & Hygiene Culture
Determine the current status of the Food Safety Culture in the company, and effectively monitor and maintain the ongoing culture
Ensure activities and plans are according to timelines and deadlines
Establish an effective FS Culture by fulfilling the requirements of Supplier & External Service Providers
Updating raw material supplier information, documents, and specifications
Handling, reporting, and investigating supplier non-conformances
Ensure VACCP is implemented and monitored
Ensure Supplier SQA is implemented and effectively managed
Verification of the COA/the COC of the supplier upon incoming and receiving
Office Assistance (Cleaners) & QC Development
Ensure supervision of Office Assistants / Cleaners
Ensure cleaning stock is in order against budget and timeously
Ensure monitoring and verification of Office Assistants' activities and duties
Ensure monitoring and verification of QC Developments activities and duties
Ensure documentation is compiled and completed for tasks and duties
Assist with Internal Customer Service
Trending and Data Analysis
Compiling of data and information for continuous improvement
Compiling of data and trending for Customer Quality Analysis
Data Management for internal processes and internal interest parties
To assist the Compliance Manager with all aspects of the Food Safety and Quality System
