Head Mixologist

As a Head Mixologist, your creative flair and passion for beverage will lead your bar team to deliver superior beverage experiences for our guests. In this role you will work with premium spirits, locally sourced ingredients, and unique flavours to craft exceptional and exclusive cocktails, engaging guests to understand their preferences and creating customised drinks that add a special touch to the overall luxury atmosphere.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Delight guests by offering trend‑setting and innovative products and services, contributing to sales activities and maximizing revenue.
  • Drive cocktail menu changes to ensure the menu remains fresh, innovative and seasonally accurate.
  • Use high‑quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, vegetables and spices to create extraordinary drinks.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of every type of spirit, sharing flavor, history and composition.
  • Partner with the outlet manager to execute the smooth and flawless operation of the bar and restaurant.
  • Conduct training sessions on beverage pouring practice, cocktail mixing, bottle flaring and up‑selling.
  • Complete all bartender duties when necessary.
  • Develop a complete working knowledge of menu items, ingredients and preparation.
  • Ensure all detail of service meets expected standards, delivering the highest level of service to guests.
  • Train bartenders and service team to maintain beverage knowledge and service standards.
  • Assist with beverage procurement and costing.
  • Ensure the bar area is fully equipped, stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments and produce.
  • Stay up to date with the food and beverage offerings to assist guests with queries and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Responsible alcohol service certification or license as required by local regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes and a wide range of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to engage with guests, understand preferences, make recommendations and provide a positive experience.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements, proper presentation and strict adherence to recipes.
