Overview

Job Title: Senior Front-End Engineer

Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Engineer to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and implementing front-end development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the technical direction of their applications.

Responsibilities:

Lead the front-end development of web applications and interfaces

Collaborate with designers and back-end engineers to implement front-end solutions that are cohesive and user-friendly

Develop reusable code and libraries for future use

Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development

Mentor and coach junior front-end engineers

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

5+ years of experience in front-end development

Expertise in HTML, CSS, and Java Script

Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or

Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development

Strong understanding of web performance optimisation techniques

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Experience with version control systems such as Git
