Front-End Developer; Senior

About our client

• Develop and maintain responsive and accessible web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Implement user interfaces based on design specifications, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into functional components.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure data flow.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and adhere to coding standards.
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
• Take ownership of features from conception to deployment, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

• A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial (Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.)
• Minimum of 8+ years of software development experience
• Experience with Angular, React, or Vue, with a willingness to specialize in Vue 3 + Vite.
• Strong proficiency in Type Script, modern HTML/CSS/SCSS (Flexbox, Grid), and REST/JSON APIs.
• Focus on component design, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive layouts.
• Experience with state management (NgRx, Redux, Pinia) and essential libraries for routing, forms, and data visualization.
• Solid experience with testing frameworks (Jest/Vitest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright) and build tools (Vite/Webpack).
• Strong understanding of Git workflows and familiarity with Dev Ops practices and the software release cycle.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with BAs and QA teams, with a strong ownership mindset.
