Are you a talented Java developer with a passion for crafting elegant, efficient, and high-quality code? We are seeking a talented and experienced Intermediate Java Software Developer to join our team. As an Intermediate Java Software Developer at Electrum, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's software solutions and contributing to the success of high-impact, high-reward projects making it crucial to have a solid foundation in Java and the ability to perform under high-stakes, complex, and challenging conditions.

You will be responsible for crafting elegant and efficient Java code for our high-performance backend systems. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of software development experience who are passionate about delivering quality and maintainable solutions.

Requirements

• 3 years experience in software development
• Anyone can write code. However, it takes a bit of experience to write code that balances elegance, maintainability, efficiency and quality.

• Be strong with Java
• Our backend systems are built on this. They are high-performance systems that really require you to know what you’re doing in Java.
• A university degree or an additional equivalent years in relevant experience
• It can be any degree or at least 3 additional years of relevant working experience in Java if you don't have a degree. Why? We need your proven analytical skills here with the ability to work in high stakes (we’re working with other people’s money here!) and highly complex environments. The work we do has a material impact on the world.
