We work from the Work Wiser co working space with a flat, collaborative team structure, and a culture centred on quality, ownership, growth, and good coffee. Our dev team is a mix of full stack, frontend and backend engineers working across web, mobile, and backend services.

You'll be joining a capable crew solving meaningful business problems.

You will build and maintain backend services in Node.js (Type Script) and C# (.NET Core), integrate with external APIs, support large scale data flows, and ensure performance, reliability, and security across client projects. You will work closely with front‑end developers, project managers, and QA to deliver backend systems that are a pleasure to integrate with and a joy to maintain.

• RESTful and Graph
  
  QL APIs powering web and mobile experiences
• ERP and third party API integrations
• Backend services deployed to Google Cloud or AWS
• Database interactions including SQL, Supabase, Postgre
  
  SQL, Firebase
• Clean Architecture patterns and modular service design
• Job queues, background workers, batch processors
• Logging, monitoring, and error tracking including Sentry and Cloud Logging

• Minimum of 1 year experience building backend applications
• Basic but growing understanding of Node.js with Type Script
• Some experience using C# and .NET Core to build simple APIs or service layers
• A good grasp of REST principles and asynchronous programming
• Some exposure to integrating with external APIs
• An interest in modern architecture patterns including Clean and SOLID
• Basic familiarity with SQL or No

• Comfortable using Git and Git Hub for version control
• Strong willingness to learn, ask questions, and improve
• Eager to understand cloud platforms like GCP or AWS
