Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Development Lead to oversee a small development team and modernise legacy systems into scalable, efficient solutions.

This is a 12-month contract role with opportunities to contribute to high-impact projects and drive technical excellence.

• Lead and supervise a small development team, fostering growth and technical competence
• Analyse, interpret, and modernise legacy systems to produce improved solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure delivery meets business objectives
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on architecture and development best practices
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, and deployment
• Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Apply cloud technologies and Dev Ops practices for continuous integration and deployment

• Proven experience leading small development teams
• Strong understanding of legacy system architecture and modernization strategies
• Hands‑on expertise with Blazor (ASP.NET Core)
• Experience with AWS and Azure Dev Ops
• Solid grasp of software development best practices, including version control, CI/CD, and testing
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Proven experience in leading software engineering teams
• Relevant qualifications and certifications in software engineering, cloud technologies (AWS / Azure), etc.
