A leading distribution company based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our logistics team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of stock levels and the efficiency of our inventory management system. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail, experience in inventory or stock control, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure accuracy in inventory records.
• Update and maintain inventory records in the company s database.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock levels.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to optimize stock storage and handling procedures.
• Prepare reports on inventory balance, shortages, and other inventory related metrics.
• Assist in the implementation of new inventory management processes and systems.

• Matric certificate with a qualification in supply chain management or related field being advantageous.
• Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and data entry skills.
• Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
