The Opportunity

A brilliant opportunity to join a well-established regional contractor delivering projects across commercial, education, industrial and residential sectors. As an Estimator, you’ll support accurate and competitive pricing for refurbishment and new-build schemes, helping secure profitable workloads across South Wales and beyond.

You’ll join a stable, experienced commercial team where your estimating expertise will be valued and where career progression can naturally follow.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

* Producing cost plans, estimates and BOQs for a range of schemes.

* Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for quotation analysis.

* Supporting value engineering and commercial risk assessments.

* Preparing tender submissions and pricing breakdowns.

* Working alongside operational and commercial teams to ensure viable bids.

* Handover support to delivery teams upon project award.

About You

* Estimating experience with a regional or main contractor.

* Ability to measure, price and analyse multiple construction disciplines.

* Knowledge of subcontract markets, supply chain rates and pricing strategy.

* Strong mathematical, organisational and communication skills.

* Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple tenders.

* Experience across refurbishment and new-build will be beneficial.
