We are looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Cardiff team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional who is looking to develop their skills and long term career growth within a vibrant and supportive team, with a strong pipeline of work. In this role, you will undertake pre-contract cost plans / pricing schedules, advise on procurement, manage tender processes, compile contract documentation, administer contracts, undertake on-site valuations, produce monthly cost reports, forecast / monitor cashflows and liaise with key stakeholders on a multitude of projects, across a range of sectors.

• Deliver cost consultancy services to generate income
• Achieve business targets as agreed with Line Manager
• Contribute to MDA turnover and profitability
• Networking and business development to increase contact base
• Work towards becoming chartered, if not already achieved

• Working towards MRICS chartership, or recently qualified
• Minimum 4-5 years post-University experience
• Strong understanding of construction cost and project management principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail

• Existing network of consultants and developers
• South Wales based (or surrounding areas)

• Eager to contribute to a growing team and play a key role in our expansion plans
• A team player who enjoys professional responsibility and autonomy
• Interested in long-term career development
